An elegant and contemporary tray, where the contrast between natural rough stone and treated polish rock are perfectly shown by a subtile touch of gold. Inspired by the heraldic representation of Montserrat mountains in Catalunya, of being cut by a golden saw, making a perfect slice and leaving a trace of gold between the mountains.

In collaboration with Florenci Andreazini, stone and iron artist born and raised in La Selva del Camp, Tarragona and well known for his years of experience in restoration works. His knowledge and background in this field, allowed the creation and production process of this unique piece, that it is not only functional as the piece itself is an art work.
An elegant mineral material was used to give life to the product. That material is the stone, a material which is preserved over time without losing its main characteristics, such as hardness and durability. It is a natural element with a great variety of colors, shapes and properties, which is useful to create and design unique products.
Tall D´Or was made with Calcarea Santa Tecla stone, unique not only for its physical properties, but also for being a stone that is not commercial. Quarries are almost done and reaching the social nucleus, making the rock not longer available in the market.
