PYRAM
lat. * pyram - f. a large fire that is made outside for pleasure as a meeting point.
Pyram intends to create the feeling of being nearby the fire, recreating those emotions and sensations that this element brings together. Emotions and sensations such as, desire enthusiasm, passion, warmth, coziness and among others, that have positive repercussions in human behavior. Inspired by the fading that occurs in this element, creating different gradients and intensities of light in a single flame.
Designed for metropolitan homes with limited outdoor access area and less opportunities to be outside in touch with nature and its elements, such as fire. Megacities, with extremely small spaces or with each square meter planned for a different use than being in contact with nature.

To achive the purpose of recreating the feeling of being nearby fire, glass was the main material in which Pyram lamp was made. Using blowing glass technique to get the desired shape and sandblasting to get the gradient along the glass, that combined with light will recreate those sensations that this natural element produces.
