BIOPHILIA
Biophilia is defined as the inherent human inclination to affiliate with nature.
Under the pretext of wanting to get closer to nature we designed the Biophilia chair, opting to incorporate nature in an unexpected yet beautiful way, by bringing the outdoors inside in a very subtile way, because nature can’t always be achieved due to the increasing urbanization of cities.
Through organic shapes and turns, we created a sculptural piece of furniture or art furniture that was aesthetically pleasing and different while maintaining its utilitarian purposes, something which is both beautiful and useful.

Challenging the form, through a seemingly continuous shape that goes from the front to the back, acting as both the legs, back and arm rests, displaying the plants that spill over through the narrow channels along the chair.
